Supported Employment (Behavioral Health)
Supported Employment Services help adults with behavioral health challenges overcome barriers to work and find meaningful, competitive employment. The program supports individuals who have experienced job loss, underemployment, or long-term unemployment and have employment listed as a goal in their Individual Recovery Plan (IRP).
Aspire uses the evidence-based Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) model to connect individuals with job opportunities in the community. Jobs may be full-time, part-time, or self-employment and are open to anyone, regardless of disability status.
Services are based on each individual’s goals and strengths. The program focuses on helping individuals find work quickly and providing ongoing support for success in the workplace.
Program Services Include:
Help with job searches and placement in competitive employment
- Resume development, interview preparation, and career exploration
- Individual job coaching and on-the-job support
- Ongoing follow-up to support job retention and career growth
- Coordination with behavioral health providers to support overall stability
The goal of Supported Employment is not only to help an individual find a job. It also helps build confidence, independence, and long-term success in the workforce.
Success may include keeping a job, increasing income, and developing a stronger sense of purpose and connection within the community.
