Crisis Intervention & Crisis Stabilization
Aspire’s Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) provides immediate support for adults experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. The center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and provides an alternative to the emergency room when appropriate.
Individuals may walk in, be referred by an emergency department, or arrive for an involuntary evaluation. Trained medical and clinical staff focus on safety, crisis stabilization, and connection to the next level of care.

Crisis Service Center
Aspire’s Crisis Service Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to receive and evaluate adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. Individuals may walk in, be referred by an emergency department, or arrive for an involuntary evaluation.
Medical and clinical staff assess each individual’s needs and determine the appropriate level of care. The team may connect the individual to crisis stabilization, temporary observation, outpatient services, or other needed support.
Crisis Stabilization Unit
Aspire’s 30-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit provides short-term residential care 24 hours a day. Adults experiencing a mental health crisis or needing detoxification usually stay for 5 to 7 days.
During their stay, individuals receive medical monitoring, treatment support, and discharge planning. The goal is to help each individual return to the community safely with a clear plan for continued care.
Comfort Zone: Temporary Observation
Comfort Zone provides observation and support for up to 24 hours. It offers a safe setting for individuals who need more time and evaluation before the next level of care is decided.
